Very excited; we're seeing Spiers & Boden at our local theatre tonight. This is their first gig since winning best duo in the Radio 2 folk awards, so they should be in high spirits!

Spiers & Boden are great, but I haven't seen them in concert yet - hoping to get tickets to see them in March! I love 'Bold Sir Rylas', and the animation to 'Prickle-Eye Bush'. It'll be a great concert I'm sure!
I like the title of one of your previous posts by the way - 'weighing of the proof' - Nick Cave's 'The Mercy Seat'! Have you heard the Johnny Cash version of it? - amazing.
Hope S&B are good. I am jealous. I didn't manage to hear the folk awards this year. I did however go to the U of C folk festival on Saturday, where I heard the first band ever to make me like bagpipes. See!
Also very good indeed were these people. Both websites have clips on I think.

All the best - Simon.
